Story :

I don´t know how about you, but lately I prefer a rather reliable floor under my feet...

...whatever is your motivation to replace the floor, before you start working, clear up in your mind what is your potential, what parts you have that can be used and what you are going to need.

Now you can take one of these three paths :

1) Leaving the sills with struts and the tunnel, replacing only the floor panel
2) Leaving the sills with struts and replacing the tunnel with the floor panel
3) Leaving the roof and replacing the rest :) The whole floor

Because I am a supporter of replacing things gradually, let´s speak about the second alternative. That means, leaving the sills with struts and cutting off "only" the tunnel and the floor panel.

You can get the floor from Skoda 100 (same as in S110R), only then it is a bit pity to cut it out, so I would incline to the first alternative. You can also use floor from S120, but that brings certain disadvantages, which I will mention later. The price of these floors goes between 2000 and 4000 Czk.

From today´s perspective, I would prefer to get a new floor shaped out. It would end up being cheaper and it would end up looking much better.

That is up to you.

Floor 110R, Floor 120

There is an obvious difference between the floor from S100 and S120.

The floor from S100 is longer. And it is going to fit exactly. :)
We can sort out these differences later using the grinder.

So then....lets start cutting the floor out.

Fix the body with appropriate struts and by marking it at different places, control that it does not move.

We trim the S120 floor appropriately...

And we extend it by using another piece of tunnel from S120.....

Now we put the whole lot back into the car and gradually spot weld it and weld it on.

And our lovely new floor is here :)

I can not describe the whole procedure exactly.....
...it can be very different every time, but I am sure, you will do just fine.
